Oyster shells can be used to provide calcium to a wide range of species, including Snails, Birds and Reptiles such as tortoises. Oyster shell is said to be the best source of calcium you can offer to Giant African Land Snails of all species. This size grade is best for large snails and mixed with substrates

Pre-mix with substrate, and the snails will spend hours searching out and picking off each flake. It is a great source of calcium for snails that refuse other calcium sources such as cuttlefish.
