Golden Vermiculite Fine Grade

Made from exfoliated volcanic rock which makes this ultra lightweight and soft to the touch.
Vermiculite can be used as a substrate for egg laying or as a natural incubation medium.

Our golden vermiculite is great for hatching eggs from snails, snakes, and other reptiles such as geckos.
It's an excellent retainer of moisture with a composition that ensures that it will not decompose or go moldy.
Small and large spiders will thrive using this substrate.
It's also great for other invertebrates too and can be used dry for arid type set-ups and damp in humid types set-ups.
It can also be used mixed with other substrates such as coco-coir to add texture and create and decorative look.
