Dried Calci Worms 35% Protein

Calci worms are the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly and have been used as food for reptiles for many years and are up there as some of the best feeders around.
Now with a dried version, we can now offer these to snails too.
These are full of essential nutrients and are a great protein source and they love the taste too!
They are very similar to mealworms but have a much higher nutrient content with slightly less protein.

Dried insects are a more natural way of offering protein to snails as this would be the way they get a protein rich meal in the wild as they stumble upon naturally deceased insects and animals within their natural environment.

They can be offered in 3 different ways, They can be soaked in warm water to re-hydrate, crushed and added with other foods or simply offered dry and whole. We mainly use them dry as a topper to other foods.

They will last much longer in the enclosure than snail mix and will not spoil for 2-3 days if offered dry.
